Craig Needs A Bike!

Hello!  My name is Craig, and I need a bike.

Let me explain.  I’m a 25 year old musician from Brooklyn, New York.  I don’t have a lot of money and one of the way I supplement my income from the ‘starving artist’ life I lead is giving bicycle tours of New York City.  With subway costs constantly rising, my bike is (was) also my #1 method of transportation.  In short, my bike is (was) how my life is able to function the way it does.

Last night I went to visit my friends Jeff and Christine, and my bike was stolen from the hallway of their apartment during the three hours I was in their apartment.  There is only one other tenant in the building and they aren’t answering the door or helping me out in any way…plus I’m sure that even if they did take my bike, it’s probably somewhere far far away from here by now.

It is a Marin Lucas Valley. While I understand that this time around I might not be able to have a bike as nice as this, I do need SOMETHING decent to get me around or I’m in some deep trouble.

This is where you come in, dear reader. I’ve gone and set up a paypal account and I’m officially starting the Help Craig Get A New Bike Fund. I’m only asking (begging?) for $1 from you (though feel free to open those purse strings even more) so I can buy a new bike. And if you’re ever in New York City I’d be happy to give you a sweet tour of the place to compensate. Tell your friends! Help me get a new bike PLEASE! I swear that every penny will go towards a new bicycle and nothing else.
